History of Belle Oaks
Ed Simmons, a former Green Beret medic, decided in 1984 that healthcare and computers were going to be the hot market of the future. Belle Oaks first client was McDonnell Douglas Health Information Systems. Since then Belle Oaks has successfully assisted over 100 HIS software vendors, hospitals and consulting firms with their candidate recruitment searches. Belle Oaks specializes in finding positions for experienced HIS professionals who have 'hands on system implementation' experience. Belle Oaks fills positions ranging from VP of Implementations or Client Services to Project Manager and Implementation Analyst. We specialize in finding 'road warriors' for software vendors and consulting firms as well as System Analysts for hospitals. 

Peter Converse, BA English at Dartmouth, Graduate Diploma in Education, has lived and worked in Mexico, Hong Kong, Israel, Australia and is now based in Los Angeles. After years spent trying to find people and addresses (including his own) in foreign lands, and a background in editing, Peter is perfectly suited to finding needles in haystacks for our clients (and grammar mistakes in our candidates' resumes!). No level of clinical detail or complexity can faze him. Been working for Belle Oaks since 1995. Best time on the job so far has been HIMSS 2007 in New Orleans.
